Named after Charles Huggins (’20), a Nobel Prize winner for physiology and medicine in 1966, the centre is a learning space for science students.

Programs offered in Huggins include mathematics, statistics, physics, earth and environmental science, and nutrition and dietetics.

Huggins is home to the Acadia Centre for Microstructural Analysis and the Centre for the Sensory Research.
